See, describe & Reflect The Beauty of Jesus Christ

Emmanuel Anglican Church is a place for those who believe and for those who don’t know what to believe. We believe God has good news to tell us, and this good news is right at the heart of who we are as a church.

WORSHIP WITH US IN-PERSON AND ONLINE

We gather every Sunday in New York City's West Village for music, readings, prayers and participation, arranged in a liturgical service to rehearse the good news of God's grace to us.

232 W. 11th St. | Sundays @ 11am

Sunday School for 6 months through 5th grade is available during the service.

Meet some of the community members here at Emmanuel Church.

“Our story with Emmanuel Church started from a simple google search in September 2021! My wife, Sarah had just started her masters degree at Columbia University and we moved to New York from Nairobi.

“Emmanuel members were so welcoming, and it has always felt like another family away from home. Our spiritual journey also grew, and as a young family in a new country, we are happy that our Christian faith did not falter but rather strengthened. Most of all, we keep learning the act of love and service to Christ.”

The Emmanuel community has been a lifeline for me through some difficult years. I started attending shortly after losing a loved one and then experienced a prolonged period of unemployment. Emmanuel supported me at every step through prayer, quality time, and kindness.

Emmanuel has some of the kindest, most welcoming community I’ve experienced anywhere. It’s not a facade either. As I've stayed at Emmanuel, I’ve found people who are sincere, well-grounded, and thoughtful; people who care deeply about a life with God and the life of their neighbors. I’ve learned about grace and about what it means to lean on each other as members of the body of Christ.

Finding Emmanuel was an answered prayer to me. From the first Sunday I visited I felt welcomed and experienced a wonderful Christ-centered service. I immediately knew this was the place where my faith could  grow and where I could build community.  I'm grateful that I get to worship God and do life with such loving people.
